제목 Induced Positive Charges on Silver Nanoparticles by Tetrathiafulvalene as an Electron Acceptor for Facilitated Olefin Transport
초록 Herein, we adopted TTF to activate the surface of Ag NPs for olefin carriers, and their work function and binding energy were investigated by both UV photoelectron spectroscopy (UPS) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). It was interestingly found that TTF, which is a well-known electron donor, was able to attract electron from Ag NPs to induce surface positive charge. In other words, TTF can act as an electron acceptor especially on Ag NPs. Therefore it is concluded that TTF can induce surface positive charge of Ag NPs, which can interact with olefin specifically, resulting in the high separation performance for olefin/paraffin mixtures.
