제목 A finite element method simulation of the stress distribution on the grain boundaries in a three-dimensional polycrystalline microstructure under uniaxial loading
초록 To understand initiation behavior of cracks in a stress corrosion cracking (SCC), it is important to know the normal stress component on the grain boundaries. The polycrystalline body is generated by Monte Carlo algorithm, a three-dimensional mesh elements are created using both in-house codes and commercial packages. And the mechanical fields distribution in a polycrystalline microstructure is evaluated using finite element method. In this paper, we specifically compared difference in mechanical fields according to the change of grain boundary curvature in the polycrystal under tensile stress condition.
