Chemically linked Graphene/carbon nanotubes hybrid materials have been produced by unique acid-catalyzed dehydration reactions between graphene oxides and amine-functionalized carbon nanotubes. The structures of hybrid materials have been investigated by FT-IR, Raman, XRD, TGA, SEM and TEM. Interestingly, these materials show the great potential for high performance supercapacitor electrodes, exhibiting a high specific capacitance of 195 F/g and 173 F/g in basic and acidic medium, respectively, with improved long term stability up to 10,000 cycles. |
