Cilostazol, used in the alleviation of the symptom of intermittent claudication, has low solubility and bioavailability, and high permeability. In this study, we prepared sustained-release matrix tablet by wet granulation method after solid dispersion using spray drying and rotary evaporator. This wet granule tablet was formulated by using the various polymer such as PVP, PEG, soluplus and excipients. XRD measurements indicated that solid dispersion of cilostazol in amorphous PVP, in amorphous soluplus or in partially amorphous PEG were formed. SEM images indicated morphology of drug, carrier, excipient, and prepared solid dispersion. The in vitro tests was carried out to find characteristic of dissolution of cilostazol granule tablet in gastric juice (pH 1.2). The in vitro test found sustained-release of cilostazol granule tablet. This studies showed sustained-release of granule cilostazol tablet by polymer and preparation method.
