제목 Highly stable and compact iron oxide nanoparticles with multidentate zwitterioic lignads
초록 We have developed the zwitterion ligand system on iron oxide nanoparticles(IONPs). RAFT polymerization is used to synthesize multidentate polymer based on PEG and Zwitterion monomer. We compared colloidal stability, protein adsorption, and cellular uptake of each nanoparticles. Both polymers give iron oxide nanoparticles more enhanced colloidal stability and maintain the properties of IONPs in physiological conditions. However, zwitterionic IONPs showed less non-specific adsorption of protein, and cellular uptake than PEGylated IONPs. Furthermore, zwitterionic IONPs showed the potential of biomolecule conjugation by introducing functional groups and specific targeting ability in vitro test.
