제목 | Multifunctional polycatecholamine fabrication by conventional ink-jet printing |
초록 | Polydopamine is a representative melanin-like polycatecholic organics that has been widely used in surface engineering. It has been applied to a variety of substrates as a multifunctional coating as well as an adhesive layer for secondary functionalization. However, it often requires labor-intensive surface patterning process due to the difficulties in selective binding. Herein, we found that enzyme by ink-jet printer initiated polymerization of catecholic precursors, and simultaneous attachment of polycatecholic pigment was observed near the enzyme due to its adhesive properties.
