제목 Trimerization of isobutene over zeolites catalysts ; Remarkable performance over ferrierite and beta zeolites
초록 Oligomerization of isobutene has been investigated using several zeolites in order to produce triisobutenes that are useful chemical feedstock for heavy alkylates and neo-acids. More than 60% selectivity to trimers at stable isobutene conversion at high temperature and low space velocity is obtained over ferrite zeolite for 50h. Under similar reaction conditions, isobutene oligomerises to its trimers with more than 50% selectivity over beta zeolite (with higher concentration of acid sites) for 100h time-on-stream. These zeolites therefore are potential catalysts for the isobutene trimerization showing high stability, quantitative conversion, high selectivity and easy regeneration.
