Electrohydrodynamic nozzle printing (E-nozzle printing) is a novel technique to fabricate nanowire arrays on device substrates. We have fabricated the aligned patterns of poly[(9,9-di-n-octylfluorenyl-2,7-diyl)-alt-(benzo[2,1,3]thiadiazol-4,8-diyl)] (F8BT) nanowires by controlling E-nozzle printing conditions. Also, light-emitting field-effect transistors (LEFETs) using F8BT nanowire arrays as channels were fabricated with varying thermal annealing and surface treatment conditions and their electrical performances were characterized. In addition, we investigated the effect of doping F8BT nanowires with 4-(1,3-dimethyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-benzoimidazole-2-yl)-phenyl-dimethyl-amine (N-DMBI) on the charge carrier mobilities. |
