제목 Improvement of Lead-acid battery performance using negative carbon electrode
초록 In this study, the conventional lead negative electrode is replaced by activated carbon electrode. The low crystallinity of lead sulfate in carbon electrode was confirmed by X-ray diffraction. The high specific surface area and micro-pore were clarified by the Brunauer Emmett Teller. The alternative carbon electrode can advance 15% more charge acceptance than conventional lead-acid batteries. The negative electrode using carbon active material enhanced the cycle life and power density of lead acid batteries.
