Improvement of Lead-acid battery performance using negative carbon electrode |
초록 |
In this study, the conventional lead negative electrode is replaced by activated carbon electrode. The low crystallinity of lead sulfate in carbon electrode was confirmed by X-ray diffraction. The high specific surface area and micro-pore were clarified by the Brunauer Emmett Teller. The alternative carbon electrode can advance 15% more charge acceptance than conventional lead-acid batteries. The negative electrode using carbon active material enhanced the cycle life and power density of lead acid batteries. |
