Low temperature synthesis of noble metal phosphides as new hydrodesulfurization catalysts |
초록 |
Low temperature synthesis of noble metal (Rh, Pd, Ru) phosphides (NM-P) was examined to prepare highly active hydrodesulfurization (HDS) catalysts. Triphenylphosphine (TPP) was used as a phosphorus precursor. On the other hand, conventional catalysts were prepared from phosphate precursor. Since TPP was more easily reduced than phosphate, the optimal reduction temperatures for HDS activities of NM-P catalysts prepared from TPP were lower than those of the catalysts prepared from phosphate. Furthermore, Rh-P catalyst showed the highest HDS activity among NM-P catalyst, and this activity was higher than that of commercial CoMo/Al2O3 catalyst. Characterization results revealed that high HDS activity of Rh-P catalyst prepared from TPP was caused by formation of highly dispersed rhodium phosphide particles. |
