제목 Ordered mesoporous Ni-Mn composite oxide with good performance for Li-ion Batteries
초록 Based on their much higher capacities and better safety, transition metal oxides have been widely investigated as electrode materials for lithium-ion batteries. However, these materials have several disadvantages. So, transitional metal oxides are studied for solving the problems by addition of carbon, making binary metal oxide.
Above all, binary metal oxide presents some new properties which are difficult to achieve in a single oxide system such as reversible capacity, and electronic conductivity. In this work, meso Ni-Mn composite oxide were prepared by the nanocasting method using manganese nitrate and nickel nitrate precursor.
N2 isotherms show that meso Ni-Mn composite oxide has a specific BET surface area of 140m2/g and a pore diameter of 3nm and 10-20nm. Our as-prepared Ni-Mn composite oxides products were evaluated as the anode material for the LIB. The discharge capacity of nickel manganese oxides showed 1437mAh/g, and initial efficiency showed 71% in the first cycle.
