A New BNCT Agent based on Carborane Derivatives |
| 초록 |
Inspite of the usefulness of o-carboranlmethylamines for carborane chemistry, only some examples of water-soluble o-carboranylmethylamine derivatives have appeared in the literature. A new synthetic method for synthesizing carborane derivatives containing a polar functional groups such as 2-methoxyethyl or 2-hydroxyethyl or acetic acid group is described. In vitro studies showed that the desired carborane derivatives accumulate to high levels in B-16 melanoma cells despite low cytotoxicity. |
