Preparation of periodic mesoporous organosilica / polymer composite |

Periodic mesoporous organosilicas (PMO) were synthesized using bis(triethoxy silyl) ethane(BTEE) as the precursor and Dodecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide(DTMA) as the templating agents. The chain length of templating agents were found to have a effect on the surface area and pore volume of POM. But the chain length of templating agents almost have no effect on the pore diameter of PMO. From the XRD and DSC experiments, we found that the chain length of surfactant as using the templating agents have effect on the melting transition of Poly ethylene. The results of TGA proved that the thermal decomposition temperature of polymer penetrated into PMO were increased. |
