Polycarbodiimide is excellent in heat stability and has high workability and moldability. Because of that Various applicable areas have been proposed for carbodiimide resins, e.g., paint, adhesives and coating agents. However, polycarbodiimide is still unsatisfactory with UV-curable oligomer industry. Polycarbodiimide oligomers can be used to UV curable coating materials. In this study, we carefully probe the nature of Polycarbodiiide dispersions in various monomers, UV curable coating material using rheological properties such as steady, dynamic rheology and in situ rheological studies with UV curing. |
