Traditional inorganic TE materials such as BiTe or PbTe have shown an outstanding performance at low temperature (<500K) applications. Due to their expensive cost, brittleness, interfacial tension, heavy weight and so on, recently many researchers have paid attention to alternative other materials for flexible and solution-processable TE devices. Nano carbon materials (carbon nanotubes (CNTs) or graphenes) are considered as promising candidates of next generation TE materials. CNTs have a high aspect ratio and a superior electrical property and electrical conductive paths can be formed with small amount of CNTs. P-typed and n-typed CNTs are prepared by decorating electron-withdrawing or donating functional groups around CNTs, which leading to the control of carrier concentrations. In this talk, we introduce a fabrication method of porous films using orgnaic semiconductors and nanocarbon materials. |
