Nitric oxide releasing catalytic lipid with endothelial cell derived membrane on titanium surface for the endo-vascular implantation |
초록 |
To develop ideal cardiovascular devices, we suggest a model of lipid bilayer derived from endothelial cells (ECs) membrane with a phospholipid containing catalytic selenium molecule generating nitric oxide (NO) with endogenous NO precursors. We inserted selenium containing molecule into membrane from ECs and coated a titanium surface with the membrane. The tethered membrane possessed endothelium-mimetic properties and successfully released NO. EC, smooth muscle cell, and macrophage exhibited a promotive, suppressive, and immunomodulatory responses, respectively. Taken together, our results not only provide understanding of the kinetics of catalytic NO-releasing membrane and cellular responses to the membrane but also highlight the versatile design for endo-vascular implantation and bio-interfacing devices. |
