Thermally Crosslinkable Hole Transport Material for Solution-Processable Organic Light-Emitting Diodes |

The crosslinkable hole transport layer (HTL) is one of the multilayer fabrication methods for solution-processed organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). It is difficult to fabricate one organic layer on another organic layer by solution-processing, because the solvent used in one layer can redissolve or damage the previous layer. Therefore, chemical crosslinking to obtain solvent-resistant film of hole transport materials (HTMs) is generally used for solution-processed OLEDs by ultraviolet (UV) irradiation or heating to a specific temperature to realize multilayer structures. Herein, we design and synthesize a new HTM for the fabrication of solution-processed OLEDs with an carbazole core and styrene functional group. The thermal crosslinkable HTM was successfully crosslinked with HTL for soluton-processed OLEDs. After crosslinking, HTL was not damaged by the any organic solvents through solvent treatment. |
