Hydrogel capsules, which have stimuli-responsive property, were great technological importance for their potential application such as microcontainers, microreactors or microcarriers. In this work, micro cationic poly(vinyl amine) (PVAm hollow hydrogel particles were introduced to entrap the water-soluble materials. First, micro Poly(N-vinylformamide) particles were prepared as a derivative template through dispersion polymerization. And PVAm hollow particles were produced via single-step method which was composed of hydrolysis, crosslinking and core dissolution step. The shape and morphology of hollow-structure were observed by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and confocal laser scattering microscope (CLSM). In addition, influence of external medium pH on the permeability of the water-soluble dye and their release profiles were investigated using optical microscope (OM) and UV-Vis spectra (UV), respectively. |
