Synthesis and characteristics of hydrogel microspheres of poly(vinyl alcohol) and poly(acrylic acid) interpenetrating polymer networks |
초록 |
Hydrogel microspheres, which consisted of poly(vinyl alcohol) and poly(acrylic acid) interpenetrating polymer networks, were prepared by emulsion radical polymerization. These hydrogels microspheres has the three-dimensional networks that were capable of imbibing large quantities of water and release drugs at the controlled rates. The hydrogel microsperes exhibited a sensitive pH-responsiveness much better at the basic pH range than at the acidic pH range. FT-IR was used to confirm the composition of the hydrogel microspheres. Morphology of hydrogel microspheres were studied by using scanning electron microscopic. |
