제목 | Use of Silicone Derivates in the Production of DIP for the Manufacture of Printing & Writing |
초록 | Nopco Paper Technology is one of the leading suppliers of chemical additives for the detachment and removal of ink. A few years ago, Nopco has introduced new kinds of additives for the ink detachment and deinking of a higher grade waste paper in the tissue, board and recycled paper industry. This technology has proved its worth in practice and constitutes an alternative to soap systems, particularly there where an alkaline operation is either not desired or inadmissible. The following explanations are divided into two parts. In the first part, we report to what extent silicone derivates have been able to be introduced on the market as a fatty acid / soap substitute. Then, in the second part, we report from a user’s point of view about practical experience with silicone derivates in the manufacture of newsprint.
