제목 | Preparation of Chitosan/PLCL Composite Scaffold as a Bone Tissue Substitute |
초록 | As the elderly population increases, incidence of bone tissue damage is uprising. Tissue engineering can provide suitable resolutions to overcome these problems and utilizes 3D porous scaffolds. In the present study, we fabricated a 3D polymeric scaffold of chitosan and poly(L-lactide-co-caprolactone). 3D structural characteristics, porosity, water uptake, and chemical analysis were performed. The effects of composition variation of the scaffolds were evaluated with regard to osteoblast growth and differentiation. Our results indicate that the scaffolds can be further utilized for the development of bone substitutes.
