제목 In-Situ Polymerization of Linear and Hyperbranched Poly(ether-ketone) in the Presence of Graphite in a Mild Polyphosphoric Acid
초록 In the optimized aromatic electrophilic substitution reaction condition in poly(phosphoric acid) (PPA) with an optimized phosphorous pentoxide (P2O5) content, high molecular weight linear and hyperbranched poly(ether-ketone)s (PEKs) were prepared in the presence of two types of graphites. Graphite is the stacks of graphene layers with weaker van der Waals forces between the layers. The complete exfoliation of these layers is very difficult because of high crystal lattice energy. The polyetherketone-grafted graphites were studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM), and so on. The results showed that some portions of graphites were completely exfoliated and rolled into nanoscale tubes. The result envisions that this would be one of the simplest, cheapest and best approaches to afford nanoscale composites starting from low-cost two-dimensional graphite sheets to high performance one-dimensional nanotube.
