제목 Fabrication of superhydrophobic surfaces by electron irradiation of poly(tetrafluoroethylene) film
초록 Superhydrophobic surfaces were fabricated by one-step electron irradiation of poly(tetrafluoroethylene) (PTFE) films. PTFE films were irradiated with a 50-keV electron beam at an electron fluence ranging from 5 x 1016 cm-2 to 2 x 1018 cm-2. The irradiated films were investigated by using a field-emission scanning electron microscope and an X-ray photoelectron spectrometer. As the electron fluence increased, the surface roughness of the PTFE films increased remarkably, resulting in the formation of superhydrophobic surfaces.
