In this study, bisphenol A-imprinted polymer brush with a high specific surface area was fabricated by atomic transfer radical polymerization (ATRP). A two-dimensional polystyrene (PS) colloidal monolayer was fabricated using a spin coater so as to prepare the porous silica sol-gel film. After that, a silica precursor solution was uniformly spread onto the substrate and then the substrate was spin-coated at 3000 rpm for 30s, immediately. Finally, molecularly imprinted polymer brush was grown via ATRP reaction. The structural investigations on molecularly imprinted polymer brush carried out by a field emission scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscope. Furthermore, recognition properties of the polymer brush for bisphenol A molecules were analyzed via quartz crystal microbalance (QCM). |
