Polymer Single Nanowire made of Diketopyrrolopyrrole-containing Conjugated Copolymer |

The latest research in highly crystalline polymeric nanofibers and single crystalline nanowire-based FETs indicates the great importance of studying the intrinsic charge transport phenomena and the structure-property relationships. If the nanowire fabricated using semiconducting polymers has no defect and clearly exhibits crystalline structure, it will be an ideal charge transporting system in FET devices. In this study, we will demonstrated a diketopyrrolopyrrole (DPP)-based alternating copolymer which contains planar, rigid-rod moiety in repeating groups and high effectiveness in the fabrication of solution-based polymer nanowires (PNWs). Optical microscope, scanning electron microscope, and transmission electron microscope analaysis were employed to investigate the intrinsic properties of the polymers. |
