Nanotexture studies of polymeric precursor-based activated hard carbons: II. Transmission electron microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, and high-performance supercapacitors |
초록 |
In this study, nanoporous development and structure of activated polymer-based hard carbons using CO2 activation (APHCs) was observed by TEM and Raman spectroscopy. It was observed that the nanopores of APHCs were consisted of slit-shaped pores (SPs) and little cylindrical pores (CPs). It is well-known fact that the SPs should be formed in the APHCs in order to show high SSA. In addition, the electrochemical properties of the APHCs as electrodes for a supercapacitor are studied by a cyclic voltammetry (10~200 mV/s), galvanostatic chare-discharge, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (100 mHz~300 kHz), and cycle life measurements in 6 M KOH electrolyte. The supercapacitor electrode exhibits exceptional specific capacitances of 95.64 F/g (55.11 F/cc) at current 2 mA and 95.2% after 100 cycles at 2 mA. These values are proven to be high when the capacitances are compared between the SPs and CPs. |
