제목 Microfluidic Fabrication of Uniform Elastomeric Colloids
초록 This talk introduces a flexible and straightforward method for fabrication of monodisperse elastomeric microparticles by using a microcapillary-based microfluidic technique. The use of this approach enables tight control over the size and monodispersity of precursor droplets as well as their surface chemistry. After solidification of the precursor droplets by photo-polymerization, the inner core of the resulting microparticles consists of polyurethane elastomer, and the outer surface is modified with nanomaterials. Thus, the microparticles are fabricated to have the mechanical flexibility and structural diversity. Finally, we demonstrate that they can be applied for microencapsulation and pressure sensing.
