제목 Preparation of Cesium adsorbent via synthesis of Prussian blue particles in porous hydrogel
초록 Prussian blue is well known as good cesium-removable material. Moreover, studies of its application such as medicine and water purification filter were being conducted actively. Nevertheless, Prussian blue is used in limited cases for purification of aqueous pollutants because of low affinity between water and Prussian blue powder. To solve the problem, hydrogel was applied to structural support material cesium adsorbent. It gives more chances that adsorbents contact with cesium ion than the powder-phase Prussian blue because the hydrogel has high water content. Herein, inverse high internal phase emulsion hydrogel (i-HIPE hydrogel) was fabricated and used as structural support for the Prussian blue. The Prussian blue particles are synthesized by redox reaction between FeCl3 and K3[Fe(CN)6] in i-HIPE hydrogel.
