제목 Injectable hydrogel from modified CMC as a barrier for prevention of post-operative tissue adhesion
초록 The badly postoperative adhesions cause pelvic pain, infertility, and intestinal obstruction. There are many types of anti-adhesion methods such as pharmaceutical adhesion prevention, adhesion prevention barrier. Hydrogel barriers for anti-adhesion have many advantages such as biodegradability, non-toxicity, non-preform, flexibility, high permeability of oxygen and nutrients. We developed the in situ injectable crosslinked-hydrogel fabricated by modified carboxymethyl cellulose(CMC) with tyramine and subsequent enzyme reaction using horseradish peroxidase and H2O2. The modified CMC with tyramine was confirmed by ATR-FTIR. The biodegradation behavior was observed by weigh loss and SEM images. From in vivo animal test, it is observed that post-operative tissue adhesion was dramatically decreased by applying in situ injectable hydrogel. It is concluded that the injectable hydrogel made of modified CMC hydrogel has great potential for use as an anti-adhesion barrier.
