Preparation of MPEG-b-(PLLA-ran-PGA-ran-PCL) with biodegradable adjustable window |

We tried to confirm that biodegradation adjustable polymers were prepared by using the L-lactide, glycolide and ε-caprolactone these had the good mechanical properties. MPEG-b-(PLLA-ran-PGA-ran-PCL) (MPEG-PLGC) was prepared via ring-opening polymerization using MPEG as an initiator, it had the various ratios and molecular weight of hydrophobic group. It was characterized by 1H-NMR, GPC, DSC and a universal testing machine. It was made the film and determined biodegradation period. MPEG-PLGC were made that hydrophobic group was various ratios and molecular weights, increased elongation compared with PLGA. According to this results of biodegradation in vitro and in vivo until 1-6 weeks, the ratio of monomers in hydrophobic group was able to control biodegradation period. In addition, it was confirmed few immune response through immunohistochemical staining. Through this, we confirmed the possibility that MPEG-PLGC was able to use biodegradation adjustable materials. |
