제목 Studies of n-butyl acrylate photopolymerization using real time FT-IR and molecular weight measurement
초록 Photopolymerization of n-butyl acrylate was characterized by real time FT-IR spectroscopy and molecular weight measurement (GPC-MALS). Polymerization rate increased with the increase in UV intensity or photoinitiator concentration. Residual monomers after polymerization increased with the increase in UV intensity, but decreased with the increase in photoinitiator concentration. The effect of polymerization condition on molecular weight distribution was also examined. Shorter chains were obtained with higher UV intensity or higher photoinitiator concentration.
