Select of the optimal binder for recycled cold asphalt paving mixtures |

Industrialization is abruptly progresses, the problems of resource depletion and increase of various wastes are seriously was incidence. So, the recycling of waste and recycling technology has been a lot of interest was conducted. As part of this, the recycling technology of waste asphalt has received a lot of attention, and the law of obligatory use is being promoted. However, the existing technology of recycled cold asphalt paving mixtures has a problem. Also, it has disadvantages that cause the pollution problems due to fossil fuels in the process of heating. Therefore, in this study, the cold molding technology is developed unlike the conventional method. Furthermore TST (water + emulsified asphalt + emulsion recycle additive) of binder designed optimal mixture ratio, and then recycled cold asphalt paving mixtures is produce up to grade in construction site. In addition, the enviroment-friendly was evaluated through the confirmation of the occurrence of VOC in the construction process. |
