제목 Synthesis of New Selenophene-Based Donor-Acceptor Low band-gap polymers for Photovoltaic Cells
초록 We report the syntheses and electrical properties of new selenophene based low band gap copolymers. A series of selenophene-based low band gap conjugated polymers PTSDS, PTSDTBT, and PTSDTQx were synthesized via Stille coupling reactions. These polymers were well dissolved in common organic solvents, such as chloroform, THF, and chlorobenzene due to the incorporation of the branched alkyl side chains in the polymer backbones. The synthesized alternating copolymers showed much broader absorption than P3HS, covering the spectral region from 350 to 850 nm. The optical band-gap (eV) of these polymers exhibited ranged from 1.65 to 1.79 eV. A bulk hetero-junction solar cells were fabricated with a sandwich structure of ITO/PEDOT:PSS (50 nm)/polymer:PC61BM/LiF (0.5 nm)/Al (130 nm). Details about polymer structures, fabrication and results of the solar cells using the polymers will be presented.
