제목 Post-Scalability of Micro- and Nanomanipulation Technology
초록 Massively parallel nanofabrication methods have been used to address the challenges of nanometer to millimeter scale printing for a variety of materials and mark a step towards the realization of a "desktop fab." Such tools enable simple, flexible, high-throughput, and low-cost nano-patterning, which allow researchers to rapidly synthesize and study systems ranging from nanoparticle synthesis to biological processes. First, we have developed a novel scanning probe-based cantilever-free printing method termed hard-tip, soft-spring lithography (HSL), which uses an array of Si tips to transfer materials and energy in a direct-write manner onto a variety of surfaces. Various related techniques such as graphene-coated and actuation of HSL are discussed. Second, programmable logic nanowire arrays constituting a promising architecture for developing increasingly complex and functional circuits will be discussed.
