제목 Development of hydrogel-coated dip-pen nanolithography (DPN) probe by E-beam irradiation
초록 Dip-pen nanolothography (DPN) is a scanning probe lithography method based on atomic force microscopy. The DPN technology has a lot of advantages to generate nano- or micro-arrays (e.g., molecular inks, DNA, proteins, nanoparticles, sols and polymers) on soft or hard substrates with a direct-write manner. In this work, we show that poly(vinylpyrrolidone) (PVP) hydrogel-coated probe, synthesized by electron beam, can be used for DPN. The E-beam could form a three-dimensional cross-linked polymer networks of PVP. In our method, PVP hydrogel-modified DPN probe was rapidly fabricated by one step irradiation of electron beam. Using this probe, we have generated patterns of fluorescent materials. The formation of PVP hydrogel at the surface of AFM probe was confirmed by scanning electron microscopy images and energy dispersive spectroscopy.
