제목 Single-walled carbon nanotube-based nanocarrier for macromolecule delivery as a plant engineering tool
초록 Today, we have faced many challenges, including climate changes and the growing demand for safe foods. Therefore, efficient plant engineering technology is inevitable to improve crop quality and productivity. However, delivering exogenous macromolecules such as plasmids and proteins into the desired sites in a plant has been a considerable bottleneck because of complex biological barriers. Herein, we fabricated biopolymer-complexed single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNT) to maximize the trafficking efficiency of the macromolecule-SWNT complexes into the plant cells without any external physical or chemical aid. Thus, the rational design and refinement of nanocarriers can provide insight into practical plant engineering technologies.
