Preparation of PBT/aminoclay composites for antimicrobial property |
초록 |
We tried preparing PBT/aminoclay composites to use in a toothbrush without UV sterilization. Because of its high-thermal stability and antimicrobial property, the aminoclay was selected as a composite additive. Aminoclay was prepared by sol-gel method with APTES and magnesium chloride hexahydrate and determined by particle size analyzer and scanning electron microscope. Spun composites of PBT/aminoclay were checked by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and antimicrobial property. We confirmed the presence of Mg and Si by energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX). In SEM micrographs, the PBT/aminoclay composites observed to have adsorbed onto the sulface as well as inside the composite. |
