Indolic compounds have various biological activities as well as structural diversity. Therefore, a lot of synthetic approaches have been developed for the last decades. The well-known approach to synthesize indolic compounds is cross-coupling reaction with transition metal catalysts. Moreover, one pot synthesis of indolic compounds has been the current issue in the field of pharmacology. However, their synthetic method needs harsh reaction conditions. To solve the problem, more efficient catalyst is required. Recently, we have found that nanofilm induced by tyrosine-rich peptide (TRP) at air-water interface can be used as a template for polymerizarion of pyrrol and fabrication of Pd nanoparticles (NPs) on it. The TRP-polypyrrole supported palladium catalysts (TRP@PPy@Pd catalysts) showed an excellent catalytic activity in one-pot synthesis of indolic compounds from 2-iodoaniline derivatives in water. |
