제목 | Calcium carbonate (CaCO3) mineralization with surface modified hyperbranched polymer (HBP) |
초록 | Mineralization has been widely studied to control and understand their mechanism in nature synthetic systems. Calcium carbonate (CaCO3) is one of the most abandant and important biominerals in natural environment. Under natural condition, however, formation of CaCO3 occurs slowly. Many additives including polymer and protein, are studied for self-assembly of CaCO3 for various morphologies and applications. In this work, We developed a method of acceleration CaCO3 synthesis rate with surface modified hyperbranched polymer (HBP). Plenty of hydroxyl groups of HBP can be modified with various functional group such as amine, carboxylic, etc. Their structures and properties have been fully characterized by means of various instrumental analysis techniques. Finally, we have been developed mineralization of CaCO3 with CO2, which does not only offer several advantages including morphology, physical, chemical and biocompatible properties, but also reduce CO2 by using it as carbonate source. |
