We have fabricated a tubular double-layered scaffold. Double-layered scaffolds with fibrous and inner porous layer were evaluated regarding test methods for vascular prostheses. In order to study fibrous structure by polymer solution spinning, PLCL gel-spinning method was used. Fibrous scaffolds were fabricated following thickness. Double-layered scaffolds were fabricated in the two steps using salt-leaching and PLCL gel-like solution spinning. We could see it had potential for usefulness of substitution blood vessel through the several mechanical testing. We applied tubular vascular prostheses’ evaluation method using an existing surgical operation. And we optimized bio-vascular scaffold using like this method. The most striking feature of all results, it is the opposite result in vivo animal study following change of compliance. Scaffold of having high compliance value had a patency. But, scaffold of having low compliance value had not a patency. |
