제목 | Steady-state velocity profile developed in the thin film flowing down an inclined plane |
초록 | We plan this experiment to investigate a shape of velocity profile of flowing fluid on the inclined plate. To approach the incompressible Newtonian fluid, we use the silicone oil because of its high viscosity. And we overflow it on the plate for making steady-state. Injecting ink into flowing the silicone oil, we can observe that the velocity profile is parabolic form and fits a quadratic equation. According to this, we can prove that a velocity profile is parabolic in the flowing fluid. |
