제목 Protein Delivery System Based on Biodegradable Thermo-reversible MPEG-PCL Diblock Copolymer Hydrogels.
초록 As a number of therapeutic protein drugs became available, the importance for suitable release systems using biodegradable polymers has been an spright field of research for biomedical applications. Recently, PEG-based diblock and triblock polyester copolymers were studied as injectable drug delivery system. we synthesized the diblock copolymer consisting of methoxy polyethylene glycol and ε-caprolactone by ring opening polymerization. The concentrated PBS solution of MPEG-PCL diblock copolymers changed from sol to gel phase as the temperature increased. we fabricated 20 wt% PBS solutions loading 0.1 % FITC-BSA, dextran, and insulin for investigating protein release in vitro. In vivo experiments were carried out in SD rat. In conclusion, aqueous-based hydrogels of MPEG-PCL diblock copolymers demonstrated the controlled release of model protein drugs according as polymer concentration and drug loading amounts.
