제목 Synthesis of poly(methyl methacrylate)-b-poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) amphiphilic diblock copolymer brushes on Halloysite nanotubes via RAFT Polymerization
초록 A successful grafting of high density, well-defined polymer on Halloysite nanotubes was undertaken by RAFT polymerization. The RAFT agent was introduced on halloysite surface using 3-(chloropropyl)triethoxy silane and sodium ethyl xanthate. Then, well-defined polymer chains PMMA were grown from the nanoparticle surfaces to afford individual particles composed of HNTs core and well-defined, densely grafted outer polymer layer. Moreover, the growth of N-isopropylacrylamide (PNIPAM) block from the PMMA-grafted halloysite (halloysite-g-PMMA) macroinitiator afforded thermoresponsive halloysite-g-PMMA-b-PNIPAM nanocomposites.
