제목 Comparison between Silica and Nanoclay as Reinforcing Fillers for Elastomer Compounds
초록 The effects of silica and nanoclay on the crosslink density and the dynamic mechanical properties of elastomers were investigated in this study. We examined the elastic modulus of dry or swollen samples as a function of temperature (20oC~140 oC) using DMA and the crosslink density of the filled elastomer using swelling method with Kraus correction. The interaction between the fillers and rubber molecules was also estimated by Kraus constant(C). Comparison between silica and nanoclay as reinforcing fillers for elastomer compounds was investigated.
