Inverse opal structure electrode using high-dispersed TiO2 nano-particles for dye-sensitized solar cells. |
초록 |
DSSC systems based on highly porous nanocrystalline films of TiO2 attracts considerable technological interest because of their demonstrated high-energy conversion efficiency, low production cost. One of the strategies to improve conversion efficiencies is to increase light-to-electricity efficiency by increasing the amount of dye in the electrodes using layered titanate of much larger surface area than conventional TiO2 particles. In this study, we discuss dye-sensitized solar cells based on inverse opal titanium dioxide films. Inverse opal TiO2 films with thicknesses of 12 was deposited using self-assembled of latex spheres with diameters of 200nm or 500nm or 1μm, respectively. The interstitial voids between the spheres are filled with well-dispersed TiO2 nanoparticles and a subsequent heat treatment yields a highly organized porous structure. Our studies show that these cells have much higher efficiency than ever reported up to now for DSSCs with inverse opal structure. |
