제목 Synthesis and characterization of low band gap π-conjugated polymers for organic photovoltaic cells
초록 π-Conjugated polymer with low band gap is crucial factor for organic photovoltaics. To get low band gap π-conjugated polymer, we introduce 2,1,3-Benzothiadizole (BT), 3,4-dialkoxythiophene, and thiophene as monomers. The band gap of the copolymers based on electron deficient BT and electron-rich dialkoxythiophene and thiophene would be very low because very strong intramolecular donor-acceptor interaction. A series of copolymers based on BT, dialkoxythiophene, and thiophene were synthesized by the Stille coupling reaction. In this presentation, we will report synthesis, photophysical, electrochemical, and photovoltaic properties of new alternating polymer.
