제목 | Structure and Properties of Shape Memorized Crosslinked Polyurethanes |
초록 | Shape memory polymers are typically temperature sensitive functional polymers which find broad applications in temperature sensing elements. These polymers basically consist of two phase, a fixed phase and a thermally reversible phase. Crystal, glassy state, entanglement, or crosslinking can be used as a fixed structure memorizing original shape. In this experiment, the fixed phase was the chemical crosslinked point. Shape memory PUs were prepared from hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI), 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI), 1,2,3-propane triol as curing agent and a various polyols. These shape memory PUs have been characterized in term of thermal, mechanical, dynamic mechanical and shape memory properties. Shape fixibility and shape recovery at various temperature were determined to observe the effects of loading temperature and recovery temperature on shape memory behavior. It was found that the shape memory PUs prepared in our experiments were recovered their original shape and rendered shape-memory behavior under the complex deformation by introducing the chemical crosslinked structure. |
