제목 | Synthesis and photovoltaic performance of homopolymer based on benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b`]dithiophene unit |
초록 | Conjugated polymers have a lot of advantages such as light weight, flexibility, large scale fabrication and etc. Donor-acceptor type conjugated polymers have been studied due to their good light harvesting and photovoltaic performance. However, the high-cost according to their complicated synthesis steps is not suited for a large scale synthesis. Also, it takes too much time to get the polymers. In this study, we synthesized a homopolymer with benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b`]dithiophene(BDT) unit by Stille coupling reaction. The homopolymer was required a few steps only for the polymerization, and was able to reduce the time to get the conjugated polymer. For the solubility, 2-ethylhexyloxy side chain was introduced to 4,8-position of BDT core. The synthesized polymer was characterized by 1H-NMR, GPC, UV-vis spectroscopy, cyclic voltammogram and etc. The fabricated device was measured. |
