To understand the relationship between packing structures and the solid-state luminescence, we synthesized a new luminogen (CBL) which have aggregation-induced emission property. From the microscopic methods with thermal and scattering ones, it was realized that the packing structures of luminogens are concerned with the emission color and intensity. The multicolor luminescence of CBL were further investigated by applying the thermal and mechanical stimulation.
