제목 Reflective electrochromic display based on the monodisperse polymer particles having hemispherical structure
초록 Monodisperse polymer particles having hemispherical structure were prepared through the seeded polymerization process. The crosslinking density of polystyrene (PS) seed particles and the swelling ratio of second monomer were controlled to achieve the phase separation during the polymerization. The viologen moiety was also introduced on the half of surface by the functional groups, which was used as a second monomer, using a refluxing process. Then a reflective electrochromic display (R-ECD) was fabricated filling with an electrolyte. The morphologies of microspheres were monitored utilizing an optical and scanning electron microscope. The electrochemical properties, reflectivity, and electrical response times of R-ECD were investigated.
